On this week's Career Therapy Podcast (e.75), we welcome psychologist Rosette Elghossain.
Rosette is a first-generation Lebanese-American licensed clinical psychologist in private practice. She primarily helps women navigate and heal from family of origin trauma, relationship problems, perfectionism, shame, and third-culture challenges.
In today’s episode we talk about the issues that arise when we abandon our sense of self and go on auto-pilot in order to please others in our career and life, how to tell the difference between a narcissistic, toxic, or just overworked boss, and why the “War on Ordinary” is creating so many issues in our ability to enjoy life and find contentment in what we have - because truthfully, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
If you like our show, please leave us a review on iTunes, it truly helps us get the word out to more people struggling in their search and allows us to keep having candid career conversations like this one.
Now grab a cup of coffee or tea and settle in for my conversation with Rosette.
