For a little background, Northern Trust Corporation is a financial services company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois that caters to corporations, institutional investors, and ultra high net worth individuals. It is one of the largest banking institutions in the United States and one of the oldest banks in continuous operation.

Martin worked with Carlos at the credit card brand Discover back in the day, and in this conversation they discuss the best practices for networking, interviewing, and career advancement within a company. Martin looks back on his best day at work (ever) and the formation of Carlos’ Hot Sauce Aficionado club. Later, the two talk about their greatest career achievements.
